Clementines' Field Trip to see the August, 2008

On Sunday, August 17, over 25 parishioners took the trip to Rome, GA
to attend a minor league baseball game. For many, including Fr.
Joe and Nicholas, it was their first time at the stadium. Our
seats were on the top 2 box seat rows in the shade on the first base
side of the field. Many hot dogs and corn dogs, peanuts, flatbread sandwiches, cotton candy, ice cream cones later, the group really didn't mind that the Braves lost the game; it was the commraderie, conversation, and ballgame songs that made the day special. I'm sure that many more will join us next year as we plan an evening game under the stars.
